Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to a compact one - and - a - half day symposium with live transmission

from 3 ORs and our Hybrid Room on „Aortic Live - Innovation challenges State of the Art“in Essen.

We all are excited about the fast development of new technologies for the treatment of aortic disease,

and it is our intention to present newest concepts and methods by live operations,

concise lectures and videos demonstrated and commented by a superb international and national faculty.

Results of classic surgery will serve as a challenging reference.


It is our aim to gather specialists and interested colleagues dealing with aortic disease from valve to bifurcation,

namely cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists and radiologists, anesthesiologists,

perfusionists and nurses, to offer a forum for vivid exchange of ideas. To practice the just learned techniques,

hands on courses within wet labs conditions under guidance of international experts will be offered to trainees,

and costs of attendance will be kept as low as possible to bring together interested young people from all over the world.

For recreation, an accompanying social program will be offered.
